I am a strong believer a journey to India should be one those things that one must do at least once in one’s life. And there is no place where the impact of this journey is greater than to visit Varanasi, India’s city of death and rebirth. With the ashes from last night’s cremation still hovering over the ghats, the city gathers by the Ganges to salute the rebirth of another day. Here the holy dip and sun salutation rituals cleanse each person’s Ātman (soul in Hinduism).
